Freckles, soft light and the beauty of keeping things natural.

ONE OF MY FIRST BEAUTY SHOOTS
One of my first experiences as a beauty model in Cologne was this natural beauty shoot with LARISIÓN. Looking back at these images now makes this shoot especially meaningful to me, because beauty modeling was still quite new to me at the time.

The shoot
Learning Beauty Modeling in Cologne
Beauty photography is very different from many of the fashion and commercial shoots I had done before. As a beauty model, the camera is incredibly close, which means that even the smallest movements can completely change an image.
During this beauty shoot in Cologne, I learned much more about facial expressions, eye movement, angles and how small changes in posture affect a close-up portrait. Because the images are so detailed, beauty modeling requires a different kind of control in front of the camera.
The shoot was photographed by LARISIÓN in Cologne and focused on natural skin, freckles, long dark hair and minimal styling. The result was a series of clean beauty portraits that still feel very natural to me.
LEARNING THE DETAILS
Beauty photography taught me to pay attention to the smallest details.
With the camera this close, tiny changes suddenly matter — the direction of my eyes, the angle of my face, the tension around my mouth or even the way I hold my shoulders.
During this Beauty Model Cologne shoot, I started to understand how different beauty modeling feels compared to fashion or commercial work. There is less to hide behind and much more focus on expression.
Looking back, that is probably what I value most about this shoot: not only the final images, but everything I learned while creating them.

THE FINAL LOOK
What I love about these images is their simplicity.
There is no elaborate styling or dramatic setting to hide behind — just soft light, natural skin, freckles and expression. The simplicity makes every little detail more visible and gives each portrait its own character.
This Beauty Model Cologne shoot showed me how powerful a photograph can be when it doesn’t need much to tell a story.
Natural, close and completely focused on the person in front of the camera.
