Model Shooting in Mettmann
Timeless Portrait & Beauty Photography
Where Soft Elegance Meets Timeless Beauty
For this model shooting in Mettmann, I had the pleasure of working with photographer Frank from Mediawork Photography for the very first time. From the beginning, the atmosphere was relaxed, creative and personal. He took plenty of time to listen to my ideas and gave me the freedom to bring my own vision into the shoot, which made our first collaboration especially enjoyable.
With a flowing white off-shoulder dress, warm neutral tones and a minimal setting, we focused on creating timeless portrait photography with a soft and feminine character. The simplicity of the styling allowed expressions, movement and small details to become the main focus. The result was a series of sensual and elegant photographs that feel natural rather than overly staged.
The Concept
A Minimal Setting, A Timeless Vision
The concept behind this model shooting in Mettmann was intentionally simple. Instead of elaborate styling, strong colors or distracting elements, we worked with a soft palette of white, cream and warm neutral tones.
The white dress became the central styling element and created a beautiful contrast with my dark hair. From full-body photographs to closer portraits, we experimented with different poses, perspectives and expressions while keeping the overall aesthetic consistent.
I especially love how the simplicity of this portrait shooting leaves space for the smaller details. A change in posture, the movement of the dress or a different expression can completely transform the feeling of an image.
The Collaboration
Working with Mediawork Photography
This was my first time working with Frank from Mediawork Photography, and the collaboration was a particularly positive part of this model shooting in Mettmann. From the beginning, he created an atmosphere in which I felt comfortable bringing in my own ideas and inspirations.
What I appreciated most was the amount of time and effort he put into the shoot. Nothing felt rushed. Instead, we had the opportunity to try different poses, angles and expressions and develop the ideas together throughout the session.
For me, this kind of collaboration between model and photographer makes a real difference. Having the freedom to experiment in front of the camera often creates the most natural moments – and ultimately the strongest images.
The Results
Soft, Sensual and Timeless Portraits
The final photographs combine elements of beauty photography, portrait photography and editorial model photography. Some images focus on the complete silhouette and the movement of the white dress, while the closer beauty shots highlight natural expressions, freckles and smaller details.
What I especially love about this series is its timeless quality. Rather than following a specific trend, the photographs are defined by soft light, clean compositions and understated styling.
The combination of the white dress, dark hair and warm surroundings created an almost monochromatic aesthetic while still giving each photograph its own character. For my model portfolio, the series also adds a softer and more sensual side to my work.
A First Shooting to Remember
Looking back at this portrait and beauty shooting in Mettmann, I am incredibly happy with what we created together. Our first collaboration was relaxed, creative and gave both of us the space to contribute our own ideas.
The final images capture exactly the feeling I wanted from this shoot: feminine, sensual, natural and timeless.
